Quality assurance

ITM’s focus on quality underpins all aspects of the business through a robust Quality Management System (ITM QMS) which governs all working processes, systems and internal controls. Under ITM QMS, regular internal audits are undertaken to ensure the highest standards are met and that business improvement objectives continue to progress.
ITM can only serve our clients by ensuring delivery to agreed quality – and this underpins the Company’s entire core and essence.

ITM continues to maintain both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 which underpin the internal QMS system. The external audits are undertaken by LRQA as part of maintaining our accreditation under the following quality standards:

ISO

The internationally recognised information security management system (ISMS) standard, ISO 27001 (formerly known as BS 7799) is based on the ‘plan – do – check – act’ model in common with ISO 9001. It uses risk assessment and business impact analysis to identify and manage risk to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Increasingly our clients and prospective clients want to know how safe their IT systems are. More organisations now see certification to ISO 27001 as a prerequisite for doing business.

AAF Assurance accreditation

ITM are proud to announce it achieved AAF01/06 accreditation for the 2015 reporting period and will undertake an AAF accreditation every other year, the next planned one being for the 2017 reporting year.

Reporting accountants, Roffe Swayne, carried out a detailed review of control framework to consider the existence, design, suitability and effectiveness of the controls in place over the reporting period. ITM are delighted to say that we passed all tests without exception.

ITM have always believed that a strong control framework is key to delivering a high quality and secure service to our clients. The discipline of regular auditing helps to maintain and develop our Quality Management System and Information Management System. This is why ITM has added the AAF01/06 control framework to our existing ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification audits.
