An opportunity has arisen within our Software and Products department, Guildford

The successful candidate will work as a Data Migrator within the Software and Products department, reporting to the Data Migrations Project Lead

Job profile:

  • To implement new clients onto productive systems
  • To migrate existing clients from legacy systems to productive systems
  • Where existing clients’ requirements form the implemented systems change, re-implement such clients where possible

Key responsibility areas (KRAS):

  • System functionality
  • Data structures
  • Constructing computer tools and methodologies to interrogate and verify data
  • Planning and delivering solutions to data issues

Calculations Developer

The successful candidate will work as a Calculations Developer based in our Guildford office.

Job profile:

  • Develop Pensions Benefit Calculations for both in-house and third party Administration platforms
  • Developing with VB.net (in Visual Studio), T-SQL (in SQL Server Management Studio).
  • Create, maintain, run and document test cases to support each developed and released calculation
  • Create, develop and manage bespoke and standard tools to assist calculation processing and releasing
  • Manage the release process of each calculation suite through various environments (e.g. UAT, Staging and Live)
  • Work closely with team members to ensure consistency in approach for all calculation automation
  • Multitask and consistently deliver to a high quality level within strict deadlines

Key responsibility areas (KRAS):

  • Governance – active, accurate and timely participation in the production of Management Information
  • Project & Service delivery / management – managing client delivery to Contractual and / or Project Initiation Document (PID) requirements
  • Client management – managing client expectations and developing relationships
  • Operational management – optimising delivery to achieve company targets & strategies
  • Business assurance (BA) – ensuring quality of product against ITM and client requirements

Developer opportunity within the Software and Products department, Guildford
